Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

In short

  • You can cancel at any time and keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • New subscriptions: full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first payment.
  • Annual renewals: full refund if you ask within 14 days of the renewal payment.
  • Monthly renewals are not refunded, but cancelling stops the next one.
  • We issue refunds within 14 days of your request.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel Premium at any time:

  • from your Dashboard, by choosing “Manage subscription”. This opens Stripe’s secure billing portal, where you can cancel or update your payment details; or
  • by emailing contact@brownian-bridge.com from the address on your account.

Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Premium until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and your account then moves to the free tier. Your progress, XP and history are kept.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

New subscriptions

If you ask within 14 days of the first payment for a new Premium subscription, monthly or annual, we will refund that payment in full, even if you have used Premium in the meantime.

Annual renewals

If you ask within 14 days of an annual renewal payment, we will refund that payment in full.

Monthly renewals

Monthly renewal payments are not refundable. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date; you keep Premium until then.

When we refund a payment under this guarantee, the subscription it paid for is cancelled and Premium access ends when the refund is issued.

This guarantee is designed to be at least as generous as the 14-day right to cancel that consumers in the UK and the European Economic Area have when they buy online, so you do not need to rely on that right separately. It does not limit any of your statutory rights.

3. How to ask for a refund

Email contact@brownian-bridge.comfrom the address on your account, with the subject “Refund request”. You do not need to give a reason. If it helps, you can use this wording:

“I am cancelling my Brownian Bridge Premium subscription and asking for a refund of the payment made on [date]. Name: [your name]. Account email: [your email].”

What counts is when you send your request. An email sent within the 14 days is on time, even if we read it later.

4. When you will get your money back

We issue refunds within 14 days of receiving your request, to the payment method you used. Your bank usually takes 5–10 business days to show it. We refund the amount we charged, in US dollars. We cannot refund fees or exchange-rate differences charged by your own bank or card issuer.

5. Other situations

  • Something you paid for is faulty. If content or features you paid for are faulty or not as described, tell us. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time, a partial or full refund. This applies at any time, not only within 14 days.
  • We reduce Premium or stop offering it. If a change materially reduces what Premium includes during a period you have paid for, or we stop offering Premium, we will refund the unused part of that period. See our Terms of Service.
  • You were charged by mistake, for example a duplicate payment. We will refund it in full whenever you tell us.
  • Complimentary access involves no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Card disputes. Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster.
