Community & Peer Review
This is not a forum. It is a peer-reviewed technical library with community authorship. Contributions are held to the same standard as a quant research note circulated internally at a fund.
Contribution Types
Listed in order of reputation weight
Pricing Module
Full implementation with derivation, working tests, and a limitations section. Highest reputation weight.
Numerical Method Implementation
Standalone solver or simulation engine with convergence analysis and benchmark comparison.
Model Review & Critique
Rigorous analysis of an existing module's assumptions, limitations, or numerical behaviour.
Challenge Problem
A well-posed quant problem with a verifiable solution and assigned difficulty rating.
Content Module
Theory exposition with full format compliance: setup, derivation, implementation, limitations, interview angle.
Bug Report with Reproduction
Identified error in existing content or code, with a reproducible test case and proposed correction.
Review Standards
All contributions undergo at least one expert peer review. Outcomes are Approve, Request Revision, or Reject — with specific failure criteria, not editorial softening.
Mathematical correctness
Assumptions stated, derivations complete, boundary conditions addressed.
Implementation correctness
Code compiles, runs, and produces reproducible results within stated tolerances.
Content completeness
Setup, derivation, implementation, validation, limitations, and conventions all present.
Notation and precision
All symbols defined on first use. No implicit conventions. No formula without context.
Reputation Mechanics
- — Earned through verified contribution quality, not activity volume
- — Expert reviewers carry higher weight in review outcomes
- — Upvotes on shallow content generate no reputation
- — Decays after 18 months of inactivity
- — Coordinated upvote patterns detected automatically
The contribution and review system is under development. The Today's Focus module is the first live content, authored to these standards.
